Automatic identification (RFID tags, barcodes and sensors) turns physical items into data people can act on. We test these technologies on the lab's own equipment and on supply-chain problems, and build the software that keeps track of what is where.
These are the projects and publications we have done in this area. Each project links to its full page on erickjonesphd.com, and each publication links to the paper.
Built on the RAID Lab
The Radio Frequency and Auto-ID (RAID) Lab is part of the SEAR Lab family. Founded at UT Arlington in 2011 by Dr. Erick C. Jones Sr., it has worked on RFID for hospitals, NASA, transportation agencies and industry, and that work is the foundation for the projects below. Its website has the lab’s history, past projects and equipment.
